Temporary permits for use whilst ringing may be obtained from a plastic folder inside the Slype door (the door accessing the Tower) and should be placed inside the car on the dashboard.

These parking permits must be returned at the end of the visit to the Tower.

Additional parking is available at the Winchester City Colebrook St. car park where there is no charge after 6pm or on Sundays. Opposite the exit to this car park, there is a passage which leads to the east end of the Cathedral.
